Six worksheets introducing the basic concept of verbs. The worksheets guide the students to the concept of a verb and using it in a sentence. All of the exercises are traceable, making it accessible to young learners.
Teaching Basic Verbs
For young learners it is important to try and get it known to them that verbs are ‘doing’ words. To get the young learners to engage with the materials, act out the words. Tell them that when we perform an action or make any movement, the word to describe it is a verb.
